​I have 2 dogs. Baby is a Chow and Golden mix who is 12 years old. Bentley is an Akita mix who is 9 years old. I have been feeding them Blue brand food for the past 5 years, hoping that this food would give my dogs a better quality of life especially in their later years. I have been so confused over the grain thing, I was finding literature to support all sides of the matter. I was giving grain free and I noticed Baby really slowing down and developing a lot of small fatty tumors. I was advised that "some grain" was the way to go. So I started giving limited grain food and in 3 months Baby's tumors more than doubled in size. Not only do I not have the money for vet bills but I do not want to see my beloved go through medical procedures. It was hard sorting through all the information available but I did find reliable sources and they all pointed to a raw diet with no grain. I started giving my dogs Barxx dog food and after 1 month both dogs had a noticeable increase in their energy level. They have now been eating this diet for 5 months and the response for both dog is remarkable. Baby's tumors are shrinking. Both dogs were starting to develop a little coating on their eyes and that has almost diminished. There coats are healthy and their bodies are trim and muscular. They have a tremendous amount of energy and seem happy, as they are playing together again. I feel like they have grown younger and they are having a great quality of life.
